Recovery First treats addiction to alcohol, fentanyl, heroin and prescription opioids, benzodiazepines, Ambien, cocaine, methamphetamine, prescription stimulants, marijuana, hallucinogens and kratom. The center also has a dedicated methadone detox track.
Short-term medical detox usually lasts seven days or more. Residential programs commonly run 30 days or longer, and stays of 60 days or more are recommended for people with co-occurring mental health conditions. A 90-day program is also available.
After residential care, clients can continue in a partial hospitalization program (PHP), an intensive outpatient program (IOP), standard outpatient care or telehealth sessions, so support stays in place as they return home.
Specialized programs serve veterans and first responders, as well as healthcare professionals. A daily music program offers voice, guitar, drum and keyboard lessons, songwriting and composition as a creative outlet during recovery. An alumni program helps graduates stay connected.
Facilities include living areas, group and therapy rooms, a kitchen, a gym, a TV lounge and a shaded outdoor eating area with picnic tables. Private rooms are available, and meals are professionally catered.
