Boca Recovery Center treats addiction to alcohol, opioids such as heroin, fentanyl, hydrocodone and Percocet, benzodiazepines such as Xanax, Klonopin and Ativan, and stimulants such as cocaine and methamphetamine.
Care begins with 24/7 medical detox, which helps clients get through withdrawal safely. Residential treatment follows and typically lasts 20 to 30 days. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is available, including Suboxone, Sublocade, Vivitrol, Antabuse and Campral when clinically appropriate.
Therapy includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, nutrition therapy, and individual, group and family sessions. Clients can also join 12-step, faith-based and topic-focused groups, along with yoga, mindfulness, fitness, acupuncture and life skills training.
Many clients also live with anxiety, depression, PTSD or bipolar disorder. Boca Recovery Center provides dual diagnosis care so these conditions are treated alongside substance use.
The Pompano Beach facility includes private rooms with a TV, chef-prepared meals, a full gym, basketball court, game room, movie theater, barber shop and on-site laundry. Residential clients coming from out of state receive free airport transportation.
