About Serenity Path Recovery
Serenity Path Recovery is a luxury detox and residential treatment center in Pasadena, California. The program is run in a private, retreat-like home where adults can step away from everyday pressures and focus fully on recovery from addiction and related mental health concerns.
Care is centered on two main levels: medically supported detox and residential treatment. Clients receive a personalized plan that blends clinical therapy with holistic and wellness services, and the team helps arrange intensive outpatient care, step-down programs and sober living resources once residential treatment ends.

Serenity Path Recovery at a Glance
Serenity Path Recovery treats alcohol addiction and drug addiction involving fentanyl, heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine, PCP, hallucinogens, synthetic drugs and prescription medications such as opiates, benzodiazepines and Xanax.
The center also provides dual diagnosis treatment for people living with mental health conditions alongside substance use. These include depression, major depression, dysthymia, bipolar disorders, anxiety (including panic disorder, social anxiety, generalized anxiety and OCD), PTSD and eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia.
Clinical care combines individual therapy, process groups, couples sessions and trauma work with proven methods like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), EMDR, motivational interviewing, psychotherapy and strength-based therapy. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT), medication management, case management, 12-Step and life skills work are also part of the program.
What sets Serenity Path apart is its range of supplemental wellness services. Clients may have access to massage, fitness training, sound therapy, tai chi, yoga, art therapy, sauna and aromatherapy, acupuncture, horticultural therapy, chiropractic care and pain management.
Daily life at the residence includes meals from a private chef, a game room, a movie room, a BBQ area, guided yoga and meditation, and therapeutic outings. The comfortable, home-style setting is designed to feel more like a retreat than a clinic, while still offering structured treatment every day.
The facility is located at 2188 Galbreth Rd., Pasadena, CA 91104. Serenity Path works with most PPO and POS insurance plans that include out-of-network benefits. It does not accept Medi-Cal, HMO plans or Medicaid, so families should verify coverage before admission. A dedicated page is also available for veterans.
